Transformative Visual Arts

Transformative Visual Arts incorporates a holistic, multi-dimensional, fine arts approach for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. Participants create individual and collaborative art through innovative, cumulative and empowering processes. Individual work includes different forms of drawing, painting, collage, sculpture and installations. Collaborative projects include murals, tapestries, wallpieces, illuminated windows, pathways and environments. Writing, music and meditation may be integrated as well. Programs are custom designed for any group. They can be intergenerational or age specific, designed for those with full or limited capacities. Some projects may focus on issues such as uncertainty, social justice and climate change.
