TRANSFORMING UNCERTAINTY

Positively transforming uncertainty is a pressing imperative in our lives, heightened by the pandemic, political, social justice, economic and environmental issues of our day.

Three related uncertainty projects focus on gallery and environmental works, seeking to improve personal grounding while ingesting the community with a comprehensive     rendering of positivism and ingenuity.

Project I involves my gallery and environmental works, including paintings, wallpieces, sculptures and installations inspired by uncertainty and states of change, pre pandemic, during the pandemic and as it subsides over time. Completed in 2020, Crossroads,Transforming Uncertainty, includes 20 illuminated installations on both sides of a rail trail in Voorheesville, NY.

Project II is a self created outdoor sanctuary on private property in Mount Tremper, NY. Transforming Uncertainty; Circles of Time grows from an environmental language developed over a lifetime. Evolving cumulatively, it propagates acceptance of fragility and change to achieve peace, wisdom and resilience during challenging times.

Project III is a collaborative outdoor sanctuary to be orchestrated in Ulster County, NY ; 2022-23.  Diverse community members will create illuminated paintings that will be integral to the sanctuary structure. This public place will change over time as it offers peace and grounding to the community at large. Planning is underway in 2021.
