Lifeforce Mandala

This environment was created on two sides of the Rondout Creek. Simulated stained glass mandalas, with images and text about the cycles of life, were installed from living and dead tree scaffoldings. The pedestrian side was easily accessed by walkers, drivers and boaters.

The island side, not directly accessed, was viewed from the pedestrian side and boats. Changing sunlight created shifting reflections throughout the installation, and in the water.
