STRENGTH OF PASSAGE
This sculpture is part of a series of explorations into the fragility of life. It encompasses ephemeral natural and man-made elements such as bark, tree limbs, branches, and broken glass. It seeks to evoke regenerative cycles found in nature as an inspiration to transform the human condition.
Ultimately, it speaks of resilience and a willingness to change when challenged with life's uncertainties. In time this sculpture and others will lead to full gallery installations through which viewers experience the work from multiple perspectives.
