Stuyvesant,
NY for six years, starting with a garden environment entitled, Propagation,
depicting community members renewing their neighborhood.
A subsequent, community-based, Public Art and Education
Program followed.
Propagation
and other installations incorporated simulated stained glass
layers (transparent, painted elements), creating an ephemeral
and constantly changing, holographic effect.
I created related, nature-based installations at artist
colonies, Yaddo in Saratoga, NY and VCCA in Sweet Briar, Va.
I relocated to New York’s mid-Hidson region
where I continued self-created public art with a series of
Lifeforce Installations along regional waterways, including
the Schoharie Creek, the Hudson River and the Rondout Creek.
Annually I’ve
created outdoor environments for regional Sculpture
Exhbitions in the City of Kingston, NY, at Unison
Arts Center; New Paltz, NY and at the Brydcliffe Colony;
Woodstock, NY. |
